Food, going out, public transport, taxis and groceries are much more affordable than in France. Sofia has many bars and restaurants that are very welcoming. Finding accommodation in Sofia is not difficult. There are many new buildings in the city, so you have a good chance of finding a new house. If you decide to live in a one-bedroom apartment, you will have to pay around 300-350 euros in the city center. A one-bedroom apartment outside the center costs only around 250-300 euros.

When you rent a 2 or 3-room apartment in the center of Sofia, you will pay no more than 600 euros. A 2 or 3-room apartment outside the center will cost only 450 euros. Whether you live in the center of Sofia or outside the center, all neighborhoods are easily accessible on foot or by public transportation.

Every neighborhood in Sofia has tram, metro and bus lines. You can get around the city for practically nothing. It is important not to sign and pay in advance. Of course, you can make arrangements in advance with the real estate agents/owners so that you can visit your accommodation immediately upon arrival. Otherwise, you can choose to stay in an Airbnb or hotel first. In the meantime, you can search for your future accommodation on Sofia!
